The Spartanburg County Baptist Network ministers to the local community through 90 participating Southern Baptist Churches.  The Network provides a director of Hispanic Ministries who works with permanent Hispanics in Spartanburg. Also provides a director for Laotian and other Asian refugees. Ministry to Ukrainians and Cambodians. Promotes ministry projects and multi-housing ministries in Spartanburg County. Provides ESL classes, etc. Provides director that works with students on all college campuses. Provides training for church leadership.

Women's Missionary Union (WMU) is in almost every church in the Spartanburg County Baptist Network. WMU provides Mission Education for girls (6-18 years), young women, and women, as well as Mission Friends for boys and girls. WMU sponsors most of the Mission projects in a church. WMU is a force for prayer for Missions around the world. WMU is the driving force for missions throughout the Southern Baptist Convention. WMU sponsors State Missions, Home Missions, Foreign Missions, Literacy Missions, Laotian Missions, and Migrant Missions.
