Founded 1989. Approximately 40 members. Dedicated to promoting the hobby of
metal detecting and displaying items found: coins, jewelry, artifacts, etc. and
learning the history of the items. We have a monthly competition in several
categories. We are a member of the national Federation of Metal Detectors and
Archaeology Clubs (FMDAC).

Members have a general interest in aviation and the perpetuation of vintage
aircrafts and the World War II era. Includes pilots and crew members from all
wars since World War II. Gives a Warbird of the Year award in February at a
local hotel honoring a pilot of World War II fame. Also sponsors the Warbird
Scramble once a year at the Spartanburg Downtown Memorial Airport.
Their ultimate goal is the Warbird Museum at Spartanburg Downtown Memorial
Airport for the perpetuation of military history and aircraft.

Women Traveling Together (WTT) is a nationwide network of travel clubs open to
married and single women of all ages. WTT provides a variety of travel and
adventure opportunities and creates an environment for meeting other women with
