| All Recipes is a huge, easily browsed site with hundreds of thousands of recipes, reference pages with dictionaries, encyclopedias, conversion charts, articles, and more. To get a feel for how big this site is: there are over 125 pound cake recipes, over 75 punch recipes (and that's just the non-alchoholic ones!), more than 100 fettuccini recipes, thousands of vegetarian recipes, and so on. There are also thousands of Diabetic meals, low carb and low fat recipes. | Chef2Chef claims 280,000 recipes of their own and links to 30,000 other culinary web sites. Not as easily browsed as some, but the database is searchable by ingredient or name of the recipe. They also have pages devoted to culinary, hospitality, and food service jobs, culinary schools, famous chefs and restaurants, kitchen and cooking equipment, and culinary travel. | |
| Cooks.com has articles, unit and diet calculators, nutrition facts, and a cook's shop, but more importantly, they have thousands of recipes. The focus in on American cuisine, but they do have a modest international page, too. | Cooks Recipes is a huge site with thousands of recipes, a handy cooking dictionary, charts for measuring and substituting, and a "Corner Market" for buying cookware, kitchen equipment, gourmet treats, and more, and an extensive links page to hundreds of other cooking and food sites. | |

The "Category" feature seems to bring up more and different options than the "Recipe Search", so you may need to try both to get the best results. They also have a very large links page for ethnic foods, such as Jamaican, Australian, Korean, and dozens more. | What Recipe Hound lacks in looks it makes up for in content. It's minimal design is straight forward and incredibly easy to maneuver. Over five thousand recipes organized by course, type of food or ingredient, or by country. | |

People on special diets can choose from low sodium, low carb, high protein, soy-free, or dozens more. The recipes can also be browsed by ingredient, country of origin, course, occasion, and more. | The South Carolina Department of Agriculture has hundreds of recipes, including fun recipes for kids, and tips on growing and storing fruits and vegetables.
