The Maltese Falcon: A Big Read Exhibit

“The Maltese Falcon: A Big Read Exhibit” celebrates and illustrates the creation, publication, and cultural legacy of Dashiell Hammett’s classic crime novel, The Maltese Falcon. With rare photographs, correspondence, first editions, and pop culture curiosities spanning more than 80 years, the exhibit is an eloquent chronicle of one of America’s most enduring works of fiction. This exhibit is curated by Dr. Richard Layman and Julie M. Rivett and will be on display on the main level of the Headquarters Library from October 4 until October 29, 2008.
